It is an additional net placed above the proper volleyball net.It acts like a block on the whole lenght of the pitch, giving the attacker possibility to hit it and retry the attack or hitting above the block When excercising the ball may frequently remain on the attacker's side, be secured, displayed and attacked again according to the same or different scheme.
The above net enables the play and while attack at the high level , the ball often hooks the upper band, hampering defense. Additionally the blocking players or block simulacrum can be introduced, then ball when secured, may be hit at long distances. High intensity of trainign allows using the the above net during endurance training. Movable arm makes stretching of elastic rubber above the net possible , what gives more possibilities to learn how to block or hit the ball at high level.
